Mancini not feeling the heat

With the pressure notched up on Roberto Mancini, Sky Bet make the Italian boss 5/4 (from 11/4) favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post. Bet now.
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini insists he is not feeling the heat after a 0-0 draw with Birmingham in the Premier League.
The billionaires were held to another stalemate at Eastlands on Saturday on the back of firing blanks in the midweek derby draw against Manchester United.
Goalless performances and perceivably negative tactics have led to speculation regarding the future of Mancini, who has been tasked with securing a top-four place.
City did adopt a more adventurous attack against Birmingham, with Stephen Carr clearing a James Milner effort off the line at the start of the second half, but fans still booed Mancini's men after the final whistle.
However, the former Inter Milan boss is adamant that he does not feel under increased pressure, as he said: "I am frustrated because I wanted to win this game. I don't want to draw or lose a game.
"What pressure? For what? You continue to say that I am under pressure. I am not under pressure.
"We are in fourth position. We have some problems, we must improve. We played 13 games."
Mancini took off captain and top scorer Carlos Tevez in the closing stages of the match and brought on Gareth Barry, which led to more criticism.
City's boss said in defence of the tactical decision: "If you think that I put four strikers on we will score four goals, this is not football.
"All the supporters can think like this, here or in Italy, but it is not football. I must think like a manager."
He also said: "Altogether, we are unhappy. But I think that we played at 100 per cent, we had a lot of chances to score.
"But really we have this problem. We have some difficulty in scoring a lot of goals.
"I think it is important we had the chance to score. But we must improve. When we have a chance we must score."
