Gibbs and Wilshere have joined Walcott in the England squad for Wednesday's friendly against France and could win their second caps after both made their debuts against Hungary in August.
Gunners winger Walcott is confident his fellow youngsters are ready to make an impact and believes an English presence will benefit Arsenal in the long term.
Walcott told TheFA.com: "For me it was completely out of the blue going to the World Cup in 2006 especially as I'd not played in the Premier League.
"Gibbsy and Jack have been doing fantastically well for Arsenal when they get the opportunity to play and that is going to continue for years to come, I believe.
"I've always believed that if you're good enough you're old enough to play even in the Premier League.
"I'm looking forward to playing with both of them for a long time. It would be good to see three English lads playing for Arsenal week-in, week-out.
"I think it would be great for the fans to watch as well. Hopefully we can bring back those memories of the successful Arsenal days of the past."
Walcott admits he takes great pleasure in seeing players like Wilshere and Gibbs earning their chance with England, adding: "I suppose I am an old man in comparison!
"But it's lovely to see players at such a young age doing so well now at club level and getting the opportunity to play for the national team.
"It is a great achievement for them all and also showing the youth development side of things is working in the Premier League especially.
"Hopefully you will see a lot of people making their debuts against France."
