Grayson eyes O'Brien

Leeds United manager Simon Grayson has confirmed his interest in Bolton Wanderers' experienced defender Andy O'Brien.
The former Bradford, Newcastle and Portsmouth defender commands a wealth of experience, but he is currently well down manager Owen Coyle's pecking order.
Grayson is eager to bolster his flagging defence which has conceded an alarming 15 Championship goals in their last five league games.
The Whites boss is an admirer of O'Brien's services, but stopped short of confirming whether a loan deal could be thrashed out before their weekend clash against Scunthorpe at Glanford Park.
"My standard answer is that we're always looking to improve the squad," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"But Andy O'Brien is someone I'm aware of and who might be available. He's gained fantastic experience with the clubs he's been at.
"Until we sign a player then people will have to wait and see but I think there might be a new player in for the weekend. I'm not saying which position that's going to be.
"I'd like to think I can get someone who can make us better. We don't need squad players.
"We need people who can go straight into the team and show the characteristics we require to win games. Any player who comes in at this moment has to be ready for that."
