The 26-year-old fell out-of-favour under Martin O'Neill as he was played out of position and the duo were involved in a training ground bust-up.
But Reo-Coker has always insisted he wants to battle for his place and has impressed new boss Gerard Houllier since his arrival.
The former West Ham man, who was transfer-listed under the previous regime, is out of contract at the end of the season and reports had suggested that Houllier was already looking at a new deal for the midfielder.
However, Reo-Coker's agent Tony Finnigan has confirmed that no talks were planned at the moment.
"Nigel is concentrating on his football, pure and simple," Finnigan told skysports.com.
"He is enjoying playing and is enjoying playing under Mr Houllier.
"No talks have been held or are planned at the moment, as Nigel just wants to concentrate on playing football."
