Solid Sunderland please Turner

Michael Turner is thrilled Sunderland have enhanced their status as one of the Premier League's meanest defences at Blackburn.
While the Blacks Cats were able to kept the hosts at bay on Monday night, they failed to capitalise on Christopher Samba's dismissal in first-half stoppage time.
Steve Bruce's men had to settle for a 0-0 draw against 10-man Blackburn, but that means Sunderland have conceded just seven goals in eight Premier League matches this season, which have included games against Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United.
Although Turner was disappointed the Black Cats could not make their numerical advantage count, the centre-back was pleased to secure a third shut-out this season - and the second in a row after drawing 0-0 with United.
"We would have loved to have won the game and I guess it was there for us after Samba was sent off just before half-time," he told the Sunderland Echo.
"But we have to look at the positives and the most positive thing is that we've got another clean sheet and we've got it against one of the most testing teams in the league - a team that really puts you under pressure from first minute to last.
"We could have won the game on the night - we had plenty of chances - it just wasn't meant to be. But there's always an upside if you can keep a clean sheet because it means you're always leaving a game with another point.
"I actually enjoyed the game, despite the pressure they put us under at times.
"The rain made it a bit of a lottery at times but it was great to be getting stuck in and competing and we've ended up with a point from another away game. We've got to be happy with that."
Victory at Ewood Park would have been Sunderland's first on the road this season but they lie 13th after losing just once so far this term.
"It wasn't easy," Turner added. "We were on top, we created chances but we just couldn't make the most of them.
"Sometimes you have nights like that - you have plenty of chances but you just can't get one to count.
"The important thing when that happens is that you dig in and don't get beat and we've managed to achieve that. We've added another point to the total and we move on."
