Wilshere set for new deal

Arsene Wenger is confident Jack Wilshere will soon sign a new Arsenal deal to tie him to the club long-term.
The midfielder has long been touted as a possible superstar of the future after coming through the youth ranks at Emirates Stadium.
He is still only 18 but has already been capped by England at senior level and has this season become a regular member of the Arsenal starting XI.
However, Wilshere is already halfway through a three-year contract and Wenger is keen to secure his services for much longer.
"We are confident that we will sign Jack very quickly," said the Gunners manager.
"He has 18 months to go. I will try to get him on a longer one. We hope we can announce that soon."
Wenger believes Wilshere has the temperament to cope with the big occasion and has likened him to a young Wayne Rooney.
"He has had a great start to the season. It looks to me like he can handle the pressure well," said Wenger.
"He is a quiet guy. You see that in the big games - he wants the ball."
Referring to Wilshere's similarity to a 16-year-old Rooney in his Everton days, Wenger added: "They have the same confidence. It's like asking a mathematician to solve a problem and asking someone who is not so gifted. It is natural for him (the mathematician)."
