The Spurs manager's comments regarding referee Mark Clattenburg after his team's 2-0 defeat at Manchester United at the weekend had been investigated by the FA.
Nani's disputed second goal for United prompted Redknapp to claim Clattenburg had 'made a mess' of the situation while describing the decision to allow the effort to stand as 'scandalous'.
The FA announced on Tuesday, in the lead-up to Spurs' stunning UEFA Champions League victory over holders Inter Milan, that Redknapp would only be warned in relation to his comments.
Redknapp, who had threatened a TV black-out if he had been punished for his comments, is now keen to put the matter to bed.
"I don't think there was any decision to be made," said Redknapp.
"I don't know what all the fuss was about.
"I think everybody must've been trying to get me banned.
"I'm glad common sense prevailed."
