Bolton midfielder Stuart Holden has targeted a victory over Spurs on Saturday and feels a good record at the Reebok is vital.
The USA international feels Spurs will provide a tough test on Saturday after their impressive 3-1 victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League but Holden is confident Bolton have the belief to get a result against the north London side.
He told the Bolton News: "They are a team playing with a lot of confidence, as their result against Inter Milan suggested (3-1), and we will have to make sure that we are up to the challenge right from the first minute."
The midfielder admitted he was disappointed after the loss against Liverpool last weekend and Holden feels picking up points at the Reebok will ensure a successful season for the Wanderers.
He added: "The home games are going to be important to us. We were disappointed not only with the loss against Liverpool last Sunday, but also because we surrendered our impressive home record."
