Spurs fell 2-0 behind against North London neighbours Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday.
But Harry Redknapp's men fought back, with Kaboul glancing in Rafael van der Vaart's free-kick to clinch a 3-2 win and cap a memorable comeback.
The goal also secured Tottenham's first victory at their bitter rivals in 17 years and ended a sequence of 68 matches without a win away to the Premier League's so-called 'big four'.
Kaboul is well aware of the significance of his goal and although he was delighted for everybody at Spurs, the French defender is already focusing on maintaining the feelgood factor at White Hart Lane.
"This is very special because it's against Arsenal and I'm pleased for everyone, because everyone at the club deserved it," he told Tottenham's official website.
"It was hard to come back and win 3-2 but we all deserved it.
"We conceded two early goals and came into the second half different mentally, stronger. We played with two strikers, kept the ball and scored three goals.
"You have to win these games. You only remember the winners. That's what we did and everyone is happy.
"We all know how much it means to the fans. For us, we won and now we have to be ready for Wednesday."
Tottenham's maiden UEFA Champions League campaign continues on Wednesday night with Werder Bremen visiting White Hart Lane for their penultimate Group A game.
Victory against the Bundesliga side will ensure Spurs go into their final group game already knowing their European adventure will stretch into the knockout stage.
But Kaboul insisted the squad will not lose sight of domestic duties as they aim to repeat last term's top-four finish after climbing to sixth on Saturday.
"The Premier League is most important, that's simple," he added.
"If we want to play in the Champions League again next season we have to finish in the top four again.
"We have to do better than last season and we can do it."
