No Capello apology

England head coach Fabio Capello will not be apologising to Liverpool after Steven Gerrard damaged his hamstring in Wednesday's defeat to France.
The Reds skipper was only due to play an hour at Wembley but injuries to Rio Ferdinand and Gareth Barry meant Gerrard ended up playing 84 minutes before hobbling out.
Capello was disappointed to lose two senior players in his side and felt Gerrard's experience was necessary as England looked to level matters against Les Bleus.
The Italian was obviously disappointed Gerrard picked up the problem, however, he will not be explaining himself to Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson, who will now be without a key player for around four weeks.
"Injuries can happen," observed Capello.
"We were trying to win the game, he is really important and we had a lot of injuries in midfield. That is why he stayed on the pitch.
"I will speak with him (Hodgson). But to explain what?
"Afterwards he will be either happy or not happy. I know this because Steven is a really important player."
Meanwhile, Capello was surprised England were unable to play their natural game in their 2-1 midweek defeat, stating they played with fear in their game.
The 64-year-old is unhappy players' performances for their clubs are not being replicated on the international stage and he hopes things change sooner rather than later.
"In the first-half we played with fear and without confidence," he continued.
"I know these players are at big clubs but the England shirt is different. Absolutely different.
"We hope it will change. But for this you need players with experience and ones who have played more games."
