Are Chelsea back on track? They are 2/1 to win the Premier League after their draw at White Hart Lane. Bet now.
Carlo Ancelotti was encouraged by Chelsea's performance in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham after a dismal recent run.
The Blues had failed to win their previous four Premier League games going into Sunday's clash at White Hart Lane and were once again only able to share the points.
However, they came closest to claiming victory as Didier Drogba saw a stoppage-time penalty saved by Heurelho Gomes.
Ancelotti admits the outcome was disappointing but feels Chelsea played well enough to suggest their blip is now over.
"It was very important to win, we deserved to win, but we didn't," said the Italian.
"I think we are on the right way. This game shows we are on our way back.
"We played well, started well. When we were down we didn't lose composure or control.
"We deserved to win. We were very close, we will win our next game."
Drogba stepped up to take the late penalty even though Frank Lampard had come on as a substitute following a lengthy injury lay-off.
Ancelotti insists the England midfielder was not in contention for spot-kick duties, explaining: "Frank Lampard was not able to shoot because he was not able to train.
"Didier missed a penalty but he had a good performance and scored a good goal."
