The 20-year-old winger got off the mark with the opening goal at Tottenham on Saturday.
However, Albrighton's day was soured as the hosts fought back to claim a 2-1 win at White Hart Lane.
"It was great to score the goal," he told the club's official website.
"It is great to score any time, whether it's down in the park with your mates, at Villa Park or at White Hart Lane.
"But obviously it's special scoring my first senior goal for Villa and hopefully I can take that on now and score a few more.
"But the gloss was taken off a lot by the result because we deserved a point."
Rafael van der Vaart cancelled out Albrighton's goal on the stroke of half-time before claiming a late winner, firing home from close range Peter Crouch's nod-down.
But Albrighton felt Villa should have claimed at least a point and knows they will have to tighten up when they host league leaders Chelsea next time out.
"We played some good stuff, especially in the first half. We matched them - if not, bettered them - in that opening period so it was disappointing," he said.
"We weren't happy with the first goal. I think we have to see out the half in that situation. We've got to be more resilient.
"With the second one, maybe we should have learnt from the first. They were almost exactly the same.
"All the lads were gutted after the match but we've got to bounce back in the next game."
Albrighton also had praise for much-maligned striker Emile Heskey, who has earned a recall to the starting line-up and held off Sebastien Bassong to square for the youngster to score.
"Emile has been fantastic in the games because he's been given a chance," Albrighton added.
"He was absolutely fantastic for the goal. It was such a shame he had to go off because he was playing so well.
"We see that sort of thing day-in, day-out on the training pitch. We know what he can do and now he is bringing it back out on to the pitch, showing the fans and the public what he can do too."
