Rovers head into the Britannia Stadium clash unbeaten in three Premier League clashes - following up successive 1-1 draws with Manchester City and Fulham with a 2-1 away success at Blackpool.
The Blackburn boss would like his side to stay unbeaten on Saturday - and win the game if possible.
Since taking over at Ewood Park, he has seen his side beat Hull City and then Fulham 2-1 in successive away top-flight games in March 2009, but there was a goalless home stalemate with Everton in between - and he would like to improve on this record.
He told Sky Sports News: "The challenge for us is to finish on Saturday having gone four undefeated, that's the challenge for us in the Premier League.
"The real big challenge for us is 'can we win two away games on the trot?' which I don't think I have managed to do, back-to-back.
"I'm not saying that we haven't won two games away on the trot but in terms of Blackpool then Stoke I do not think I've ever won two games back-to-back like that so it will be a big challenge for the players to go and try and achieve that one.
"It will be a big ask at Stoke but one we are capable of if we hit top form."
Stoke 5/4, Draw 9/4, Blackburn 9/4
