The 26-year-old Ghana international has been strongly linked with a move to Premier League side Tottenham, with Everton also thought to be interested, after falling down the pecking order at the San Siro.
However, Muntari is now set on working hard to impress new manager Rafa Benitez and getting back into the Nerazzurri first team.
He told skysports.com: "I am working hard to get back in the good books of the manager.
"Transfer time is in the market, so I am not talking about moving, we will talk around January."
Meanwhile, Spurs are also reported to be keen on Monaco striker Dieumerci Mbokani, who is also being tracked by Liverpool.
However, the 24-year-old has only recently joined the French club and claims he is not thinking about a move away.
He said: "I am flattered by the interest shown by Spurs, but I love it at Monaco at the moment, so let's wait and see, you never know in football."
