Question marks have been raised over a possible lack of unity in City's squad following back-to-back Premier League defeats.
City followed up their 3-0 home defeat to Arsenal with 10 men by slipping to a surprise 2-1 loss against Wolves last weekend.
Vincent Kompany and Emmanuel Adebayor nearly came to blows at Molineux while reports on Wednesday hinted Mancini had fallen out with brothers Kolo and Yaya Toure.
The Toures remained in Manchester ahead of City's Europa League clash with Lech Poznan, a move he believes is fully justified.
The Italian has now joked about the alleged Eastlands crisis, although he has acknowledged his squad need to continue to maintain their strong work ethic.
"I'm finished!" joked Mancini. "I have a problem with Carlos (Tevez), Yaya and Kolo, I don't know, with all the players.
"For Yaya I felt it was important he stayed behind and worked. Kolo needs to work this week as we have three games next week.
"It's not important for me. It's important the squad continues to work to change our history. If there is someone that wants to write these lies, they can do."
Man. City 8/15, Draw 3/1, Lech Poznan 5/1
