Balotelli issued challenge

Manchester City midfielder Patrick Vieira has told Mario Balotelli to work harder to help the team.
The Italian striker scored twice in a 3-0 victory over Red Bull Salzburg on Thursday that secured City's passage through to the last 32 of the Europa League.
Despite being hampered by injuries since his arrival at Eastlands over the summer, Balotelli has shown enough to suggest that he will be prolific in front of goal.
Vieira has been impressed but has now challenged his team-mate to improve his overall contribution and take his game to a new level.
"He's scored so many goals already, he's a goalscorer but he needs to work harder to help the team. But he is a good finisher," said Vieira.
Adam Johnson was City's other goalscorer against Salzburg following a terrific run and he was thrilled with both his own display and that of the team.
"I like coming inside on my right foot to try and get shots off, and luckily tonight I got another goal," he said.
"It was tough, in Europe it's slower than the Premier League and that showed, but we got the result we wanted."
Manager Roberto Mancini offered praise for Balotelli and Johnson after the match and tipped them for futures at the very top of the game.
"They could become among the best players in the world, strong players," said Mancini.
"They need to work hard all the time. They both scored fine goals but they must carry on."
